Where could this lead?
Scaling down pictures in the Gimp is very easy. Ok, do this:
Go to Image -> Scale Image
Where it says Image Size, you can choose Pixels, Inches, or Percent, or lots of other options, including Metric.
Gimp rules.
I figured that out. I don't use it much, is all.
